The committee was especially impressed by your academic achievement, including your completion of four associate degrees, your early college success while still in high school, your involvement in ASB, and your participation in dance team and dance club.

Your application showed discipline, personality, and a strong sense of purpose. It also showed good judgment in applying for a scholarship where the odds were unusually favorable.

The committee also recognizes the significance of this award being granted by a Haas graduate to an incoming engineering student. This reflects a rare moment of academic cooperation between those who build things and those who later explain why those things have market value.
